Metro North offers one of the best preschool programs in the area, all while being one of the most cost-efficient! Children who will be ages 3 or 4 by August 1st of the school year are welcome to register.
Our staff love to make their lessons creative and engaging for our students. Our curriculum and teachers focus on critical thought processes and problem-solving, allowing students to develop mental habits that will help them succeed in many areas of life.

As a one-to-one school, Metro North students each receive a 7th generation iPad to assist in their learning. Our school is supported by an on-site tech assistant that can help both students and staff with day-to-day technology issues.
The School Board has approved the 2021-2022 Re-Entry Plan, which discusses the goal to have no restrictions for students and staff when school resumes in August.
For the first time, MSD of Wabash County will be offering a Summer Food Program. The program will provide weekly meals free of charge for children ages 1-18 throughout the MSDWC area.
Early Learning Indiana recently awarded a $20,000 grant to Metro North Elementary School’s Little Norse Preschool. Little Norse will use the grant funds to support safety-related expenses and challenges as it continues to serve families in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
