Academics

Metro North Elementary's core curriculum is based on the Indiana Academic Standards and enriched by locally-developed additions. It is responsive to each learner’s needs and continually updated by advancements in research-based instruction as well as technological innovations. Our highly professional educators use this flexibility to challenge advanced students and accommodate students in need of extra support.

By recognizing and honoring the individual strengths of each learner, we orchestrate instruction to meet the needs of all students through project-based learning, meaningful literacy experiences, and real-life mathematical situations. Designing and personalizing opportunities empowers our students as creative, innovative thinkers.

Project Lead the Way

Our Project Lead the Way (PLTW) modules provide our students with transformative learning experiences through engaging, hands-on activities, projects and problems that empower them to solve real-world challenges.
