Robotics Team
Metro North offers a beginning step into the world of extra-curricular activities through our Robotics Team. Our Metro North Robotics Team competed in three tournaments during its inaugural 20-21 season, placing in the top five each time. Our 3rd Graders have no problem holding their own with teams comprised of 5th and 6th Graders!
The Metro North Robotics Team is open to students in third grade. Sign-ups and tryouts take place in the fall. Students are required to complete an application and have parent permission to participate. The team meets October through March, one to two times per week after school until 5:00 pm.
Robotics is an excellent tool for learning real-world engineering, problem solving, coding and creativity. It also introduces students to concepts of teamwork and responsibility.
