Begin the registration process by logging into Skyward. Please use a computer to register your students. Mobile devices can make registering your students difficult.

Log in to Skyward Here

1. You must log in as a parent to gain access to the student registration site. You cannot access the registration site with a student login.
2. In most cases, your username and password will be last name.first name. For example, John Smith would be smith.john
3. If you have never entered Family Access your default password will be: msdparent1
4. Click "Sign In"
5. If you cannot remember your password, Click "Forgot your Login/Password?". Fill out the form to retrieve it.

Once you have entered Family Access, you will see an online registration button in the top left. Click this button and select your student for registration.

After selecting your student, you will be presented with our District Message as well as a checklist of steps.

The column on the right side of the screen is a checklist of steps to register your student. Most steps are required, while others are optional. You must complete the information for each step that shows (Required). This flag is found at the top of the screen for each required step.

Some steps collect new information while other steps ask you to verify existing information. After verifying, editing, and completing each step, click the complete button (found at the bottom of each step) to move to the next step.

Repeat this process for each step - verify existing information, add new information as needed, and complete each step to move forward.  You can also move between steps by clicking the Previous and Next Step buttons beneath the registration checklist column.

TIP! If the "Complete" button cannot be clicked, or is grayed out, the system is telling you there is still something to do on that step. For optional steps, click the provided link (i.e. Make a Food Service Payment), then the "Complete button will become available.

Watch the checklist of steps as you move between steps. Each step must have a green checkmark next to it before finalizing your student's registration.

Once you have completed all registration steps and have green checkmarks next to each step, you may submit your online registration by clicking the "Submit Online Registration" button.

If you have another student, select your next student and repeat the registration process.

Your Skyward Family login should be your last name.first name (ex. smith.john). If you have never logged in, your password should be msdparent1.

If you need additional help with your Skyward login, please call your student's school or call 260-563-8050 option 7 and someone will assist you.

Guardians will indicate their transportation needs through Skyward during the regular school year registration process. If a student transfers in during the school year, paperwork can be obtained from directly from the school.

The school bus driver will call the family directly to communicate pick-up and drop-off times. This gives the driver and guardians a chance to connect. This phone call often happens just a day or two prior to the school year due to registration and route assignment timeframes.

If there is a change of address during the year, please contact Melissa Ball, Transportation Director to make adjusted arrangements.

While before school care is not available, the Wabash County YMCA offers after school care at Metro North. Students receive healthy snacks and homework help and have the opportunity to participate in STEAM, physical health, and nutrition activities with fun mentors and certified teachers. ​
